  • statistics

I was taking a Statistics class to be able to get my MBA and just had to opt out because I could not get the hang of the problems. What was bad about the whole situation was I only had two other classes I needed to complete my Masters. Now I have to wait for 6 months write a letter and send it to the college as to why I feel that I can do better and what needs to be done to correct my mistakes. What I am needing is a person that is really good with statistics that can explain it to me so that I can understand it fully. I asked all different kinds of people if they could help me everybody told me the same thing I was not good with statistics.

  • Growing up

Thing you remember about growing up. Oh those moments when you see something and it reminds you of something you did when you were a child. Like seeing the snow and remember the fun times you had sleigh riding down the hill by your grandma's house. What ever kept you from going out in the street in front of a car or something. Remembering the laughing at each other when you rolled off the sled. Or listening to grandma laugh when you made a pie and the way you made the top crust. For instance, I could never roll out the crust and put it on top of the pie. I used a corelle wear plate patted the crust onto it and then turned it upside down over the pie and took a knife to go around it to get it to lay on top of the pie. Here is grandma that is laughing because she used to make all kind of pies and her statement was, "gee I cannot say I have ever seen a pie made that way before." What do you remember about your childhood? What is the funniest thing you ever did? Can you remember something you did with your brothers and sisters?

  • Ruin things for others

Why is it there is always someone out there that feels they do not have to pickup after themselves? Gee in the case of picking up after the person's dog. Well all they have to do is buy a package of baggies and pickup the remains. But know they would rather leave it for people to walk in or look at. Then when they do it the thing is who left this here. Another one is cigarette butts, if people are going to smoke the cigarettes then discard them in the proper places. Why should we that do not smoke have to look at them. Or have the butts tossed at them when they are walking down the street. Then people wonder why they are taking away the privilege of smoking.

My husband and I were walking in the market area one night here come a man with his cigarette. He walked right by us and blew his smoke at us then when he got in front of us he flicked his cigarette back at us almost hitting me with it. I wanted to holler at the man and say pickup your butt it is disgusting. Or when you are out on the dance floor and someone has to have their cigarette in their hand and dance. I used to have several clothes that got burnt from that very thing. Thank God for taking the smoking away in public places like restuarants.

  • Moving in the Winter

I have had the great luxury of moving just about all of the seasons. This move we just made was on one of the coldest days of the year. Lo and behold we chose to move in the month of December. What poor planning on our part. We had been in a house for 3 years and moved to an apartment. Boy you never really know how much junk you have until you start to move. We gave things to Salvation Army and other shelter type places. Also we gave things to a person that hauls garbage for a living. We found out that December is not the month to move but what is a good month for people to move in? How would you go about moving things into the new place you are going to? Would you use a van or move things slowly into the place you are going to? Which way do you prefer?

  • Three is to many in one household

How do you live your life when you have your brother in law living with you and he never goes anywhere? He always stays there right with you. Or he will go into his room and be on the computer. This is after spending 8 hours in his room after working in the room all day. I sometimes feel that I should go somewhere to get away from him but then I think it is my house. Or feel that I am running away from my husband.
